A bruise appeared and it will not leave my body
But cream and leeches are fading your purple

Your stickers are fading; your flags are tearing
Another crisis is put out to pasture
Dying hard, dying fast
Who is forgotten since this trend won’t last?
I’ve never raised a flag
But I want 2 towers climbing
I want to see it rebuilt / start tomorrow
Rising up from the deaths
It’s not your city that needs the support now
Prescriptions will refill

Return the bodies to loving families
Start rebuilding immediately
All green lights, no class fights
Pass Petronas with no end in site

This might just be my world
Maybe a fantasy
But I will never forget
This bruise is permanent
