Fever dreams I’ve not outgrown
They put reality back in my bed
Campained I ran for mayor
I won and brought the city back to life
Born without a silver senate seat in my mouth
I’m gonna kill for it
Stains cover my face and hands
Limbs scattered on fields of dreams
Fevered sheets in a pile
Await a washer now that I’m not sick
Awake, confused what did I do
Have I bombed the house of crusaders?
Still not sure what happened
I’ll read the paper 'cause maybe I’m in it
